These beautiful light filled function rooms overlook the Yarrunga Reserve lake and bushland. The rooms are an ideal venue for training and conferences, celebrations, meetings, support groups or awards functions.

The rooms contain evaporative cooling and gas wall furnace heaters. Tables and chairs are available, and a whiteboard, projector and screen can be hired for functions held during business hours. There is plenty of parking for guests and access to a large servery and a large kitchen that includes a stove, oven, microwave and fridge.

Additional Charges

Hiring Fees: $70 per hour ($53 per hour for NFP) for casual business hire $56 per hour ($42 per hour for NFP) for regular business hire $73.50 per hour for social hire Weekend bookings must be for a minimum of 5 hours Weekday bookings must be for a minimum of 2 hours Booking changes and cancellations must be notified in writing at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date of hire. Should the required notice not be given, the agreed hiring fee shall be payable. Any and all cancellations will result in the loss of the non-refundable deposit. Booking Deposit: A non-refundable $55 deposit is payable to secure your booking date. This is payable upon return of the completed hire agreement form and will be deducted from the final hiring charge. PartySafe Registration: As a condition of a social hire, you are required to provide confirmation of a PartySafe Registration to Yarrunga Community Centre prior to your hire. This can be completed on-line. Insurance: If you do not have a current public liability insurance policy, we can arrange cover for your function through Maroondah City Council. Cost is $33 per hire if alcohol is being consumed, otherwise $16.50 per hire. If you have your own insurance, please provide a copy of your certificate of currency. All public liability must be paid at the time of booking. Bond: A $300 bond is required. Bond amounts will be refunded to the hirer, less any amounts deducted by the Centre for damage, failing to comply with security requirements or extra cleaning required. The total amount of the bond will be forfeited if not claimed within one (1) year of the hire date.
