Saint John’s Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Newcastle, completed in 1857. Over the course of the last 160 years, it has been conserved and developed for church and community use. The hall seats up to approximately 100 people and has male, female and disabled toilets.

The Hall is used on Sunday mornings by our church and is therefore not available for hire until 12.30 pm on Sundays.

Additional Charges

If you do not have public liability insurance covering $5,000,000, you are able to purchase one-off insurance for a flat fee of $25 per day. $50 flat fee includes our cleaning fee and unlimited use of commercial kitchen facilities. For ongoing bookings or not-for-profit entities, negotiations of the flat fee may be discussed.
